Questions parents ask
Pricing, the Guided College Plan, White Glove, the free AI Counselor session, and the data behind it all.
Which option should I choose?+
Use Free Explorer for search and limited tools at no cost. Choose the Guided College Plan ($699, or $599 same day) for a complete, personalized plan with a full year of access.
Is the Guided Plan a yearly price or a monthly subscription?+
It is a yearly price, not a monthly subscription. The Guided College Plan is $699 per year (or $599 if you sign up the same calendar day), and each payment covers one full year of access — renew each year to keep it. There is no monthly billing, and it is not a one-time payment for lifetime access.
How do the $599 price and the free session work?+
The plan is $699 a year. Sign up on the same calendar day and it is $599 — a $100 savings. Join within the hour (the countdown on the page) and you also get a free 1-hour session with a live AI College Counselor plus a downloadable recap of the call. After today, the price returns to $699.
Your free-session countdown: 60:00
What does a year of access include?+
Twelve months of access to your plan tools — college list, essay workspace, deadline tracker, and aid, net-price and transfer tools — plus priority email support with a one-business-day target on plan, deadline and account questions.
How does White Glove pricing work?+
White Glove is an add-on for Guided College Plan members. Typical packages start around $3,000 for 15+ hours, but independent counselors from our accredited affiliates set their own fees by region, experience and scope. You see the number in writing before you commit. Being matched is free. Platform economics for counselors are described on /for-counselors, not on this consumer page.
What data does the platform use?+
U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard, NCES, EADA athletics filings, institution-published AP and transfer policies, and state scholarship programs — refreshed on our servers. Confidence labels mark estimated vs confirmed results.
My student is a sophomore — is it too early?+
Earlier is better for course selection, dual enrollment and testing windows. Free tools fit grades 9–12; the Guided Plan adapts to starting grade.
Refund policy+
Tell us in writing within 7 days of purchase, and if you didn’t use any of the features you paid for, we will issue a full refund via the payment method you used. No partial refunds are granted. This applies to the Guided College Plan only; all other packages and services are non-refundable.
